Zerun 9-valent HPV vaccine is an investigational **recombinant, Pichia pastoris-expressed human papillomavirus L1 virus-like particle vaccine** developed by Shanghai Zerun Biotechnology for prevention of disease caused by HPV types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58. It is designed to induce prophylactic neutralizing immune responses against these HPV types, which are associated with cervical, vulvar, vaginal, and anal cancers, as well as genital warts. The product has progressed through Phase I evaluation and has been studied in a Phase III active-controlled immunogenicity and safety trial versus Gardasil 9 in healthy females aged 16 to 26 years.
