Overview

Zesteem is an intradermal formulation of 17β-Estradiol, a naturally occurring steroid hormone. Developed by Renovo, it is being investigated for its efficacy in accelerating early wound healing of punch biopsy skin wounds in both male subjects and post-menopausal female subjects. The drug is administered once before the biopsy at various doses.
