Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zestra is a topically applied botanical oil blend designed to enhance sexual arousal, desire, and satisfaction in women. Developed by Qualilife Pharmaceuticals (and later marketed by Innovus Pharmaceuticals and Aytu BioPharma), it is composed of a proprietary mixture of botanical ingredients including borage seed oil, evening primrose oil, angelica root extract, and coleus forskohlii extract. The product is intended to increase local sensitivity and blood flow to the clitoral area through a localized mechanism of action. It has been evaluated in clinical trials for female sexual dysfunction (FSD), specifically mixed desire, arousal, and orgasm disorders.
