Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zetalube is an ophthalmic lubricant solution developed and marketed by Bioquest Pharmaceuticals. It is a combination product containing polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol, which function as demulcents to supplement natural tear production. By forming a protective and lubricating film over the ocular surface, Zetalube provides temporary relief from symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome, such as burning, stinging, itching, and the sensation of grittiness. The product is administered topically and is approved for marketing in India for the treatment of dry eye and related ocular lubrication conditions.
