ZF2001 + tetravalent influenza virus lysis vaccine is a co-administration regimen or combination product consisting of the recombinant protein subunit COVID-19 vaccine ZF2001 (Zifivax) and a tetravalent inactivated split-virion influenza vaccine. ZF2001, developed by Anhui Zhifei Longcom, utilizes the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein produced in Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells and is adjuvanted with aluminum hydroxide. The tetravalent influenza component contains hemagglutinin from four seasonal influenza strains (typically A/H1N1, A/H3N2, and two B lineages). This combination is primarily studied to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of simultaneous vaccination against both COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, aiming to simplify immunization schedules and improve compliance during overlapping outbreaks.
