Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ZG033 is a humanized monoclonal antibody agonist targeting 4-1BB (CD137), a co-stimulatory receptor belonging to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (TNFRSF). Developed by Hefei Hanke Maibo Biotechnology, ZG033 is designed to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by providing potent co-stimulatory signals to activated T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, promoting their proliferation, survival, and cytotoxic function. The drug is engineered to address the systemic toxicity challenges, particularly hepatotoxicity, that have limited the clinical utility of earlier 4-1BB agonists. ZG033 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation for the treatment of advanced recurrent or metastatic solid tumors and relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
