ZG0895

ZG0895 is a potent and novel small molecule agonist that selectively activates Toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8), with over 300-fold greater potency for TLR8 compared to TLR7. It does not activate other TLR isoforms such as TLR2, TLR4, or TLR9. By activating the downstream signaling cascades of TLR8, ZG0895 stimulates both innate and adaptive immune responses, leading to anti-tumor activity. Preclinical studies have shown significant dose-dependent inhibition of tumor growth in immunocompetent murine models. The drug is administered subcutaneously and is currently being evaluated in a phase I clinical trial for patients with advanced solid tumors who have failed or are intolerant to standard therapies. The primary endpoints include safety, tolerability, and determination of the recommended phase 2 dose; secondary endpoints include response rates and pharmacokinetics[1][2][3][7]. It is being developed and manufactured by Suzhou Zelgen Biopharmaceuticals.
