Overview

ZHB015 is a bifunctional fusion protein designed to simultaneously target the programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) pathways. Developed by Jiangsu Zen-Hore Biotech, the molecule consists of a humanized anti-PD-L1 monoclonal antibody fused to the extracellular domain of the TGF-β receptor II (TGF-βRII). By blocking PD-L1, ZHB015 aims to alleviate T-cell suppression within the tumor microenvironment, while the TGF-β trap component neutralizes TGF-β, a cytokine often associated with immune evasion, fibrosis, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). This dual mechanism is intended to enhance anti-tumor immune responses and overcome resistance to traditional checkpoint inhibitors in patients with advanced solid tumors.
