Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zhen Shi Ming is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) ophthalmic preparation developed by the First People's Hospital of Hefei and currently manufactured by Jiangxi Zhenshiming Pharmaceutical. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of ocular discomfort, eye fatigue, and pseudomyopia. The formulation consists of pearl hydrolysate and borneol. Pearl hydrolysate is rich in amino acids and trace elements that promote ocular tissue metabolism and repair, while borneol provides a cooling, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory effect, likely through the activation of TRPM8 receptors. It is widely utilized to alleviate symptoms associated with prolonged visual tasks.
