Overview

Zhengcao Tongfengxiao Capsule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) product developed by Guangzhou Lanyun Pharmaceutical Research for the treatment of hyperuricemia. It is specifically formulated to address the TCM syndrome of liver-kidney yin deficiency accompanied by dampness-toxin and blood stasis. The therapeutic approach of the capsule focuses on clearing dampness, resolving toxins, and nourishing the liver and kidney to lower serum uric acid levels. It has been evaluated in a Phase 2 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in China (CTR20132115) to assess its efficacy and safety in adult patients with hyperuricemia.
