Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zhengyi Prescription is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula developed by Professor Li Zhong and his team at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. It is primarily utilized as an adjuvant therapy for advanced malignancies, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and colorectal cancer. The prescription is based on the 'State-Target Therapy' theory, which aims to rectify the body's 'cancerous state' by tonifying Qi, strengthening the spleen, and regulating the systemic internal environment. Mechanistically, Zhengyi Prescription has been shown to modulate the tumor immune microenvironment by inhibiting inflammatory signaling pathways, such as the IL-6/STAT3 axis, and reducing the expression of immunosuppressive factors like PD-L1. Clinical research indicates that it may enhance the efficacy of conventional treatments, such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy, while improving the quality of life and immune function in patients with Qi deficiency.
