Overview
Zhenhuang Capsule is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed and manufactured by Zhejiang Tianyitang Pharmaceutical. It is formulated with several active ingredients, including pearl, artificial bezoar, Panax notoginseng, Scutellaria baicalensis extract powder, borneol, pig bile powder, and peppermint oil. The capsule is primarily indicated for clearing heat, detoxifying, subsiding swelling, and relieving pain. It is clinically used to treat sore throat (pharyngitis/tonsillitis) and cutaneous sores or boils (furuncles) caused by excessive heat in the lung and stomach. It can be administered orally or applied topically as a paste.
