Haibao Pearl Mingmu eye drops (Zhenzhu Mingmu eye drops) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) ophthalmic formulation developed and manufactured by Beihai Gofar Chuanshan Biological. It is primarily composed of pearl liquid (pearl extract/hydrolysate) and borneol. The formulation is indicated for the treatment of visual fatigue (asthenopia) and chronic conjunctivitis. Pearl liquid provides amino acids and trace elements that support ocular tissue repair and exhibit anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic properties, while borneol provides a cooling sensation, improves local microcirculation, and facilitates drug penetration through the corneal epithelium. It is administered topically as an ophthalmic solution.
