Overview
Zhi Byed 11 is a traditional Tibetan medicine (TTM) formulation used primarily for the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). It is a multi-ingredient preparation, traditionally composed of 11 different herbal and mineral components, designed to promote uterine contractions (uterotonic effect) after childbirth. In clinical studies conducted in the Tibet Autonomous Region, Zhi Byed 11 has been compared to misoprostol to evaluate its efficacy in reducing blood loss during the third stage of labor in hospital settings. The drug is typically administered orally in the form of traditional pills.
