Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zhibanqing (also known as Zhipanqing Capsule) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) developed by Beijing Kaijin Technology for the treatment of hyperlipidemia. It is specifically formulated to address the 'phlegm and blood stasis' syndrome (痰瘀阻滞证), a common diagnostic pattern in TCM associated with metabolic disorders. The drug has progressed to Phase III clinical trials in China (notably trial CTR20140313), where it is being evaluated for its ability to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels while maintaining a favorable safety profile. As a botanical product, its therapeutic effect is derived from a combination of herbal ingredients that work synergistically to restore lipid balance and improve metabolic health.
