Overview

Zhihuang Plaster is a topical Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) candidate developed by Jiangsu Kanion Pharmaceutical in collaboration with Shanghai Tufeng Pharmaceutical Technology and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is formulated as a plaster for the treatment of acute ankle sprains, specifically targeting the TCM syndrome of blood stasis and depressed heat. The treatment is designed to alleviate pain and reduce swelling through localized application. It is currently in Phase II clinical development in China, where it is being evaluated for efficacy and safety in adult patients.
