Overview
**Zhongjiefeng tablet** is an oral traditional Chinese medicine tablet prepared from *Sarcandra glabra* whole-herb material, known in Chinese materia medica as zhongjiefeng or Sarcandrae Herba. It is a single-botanical pharmaceutical product used in China for inflammatory and infectious conditions classified in traditional medicine as heat-toxin accumulation, including pneumonia, appendicitis, and cellulitis, and as adjunctive treatment in cancer. Its product-specific molecular mechanism has not been established; the botanical contains multiple constituents, including coumarins, phenolic acids, flavonoids, sesquiterpenes, and polysaccharides, with reported preclinical anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and immunomodulatory activity. A ChiCTR-registered study is evaluating zhongjiefeng tablet for prevention and treatment of multidrug-resistant *Pseudomonas aeruginosa* infection at tracheostomy sites.
