Overview

Zihua Wenfei Zhishou granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine for the treatment of post-infectious cough (PIC). It is specifically indicated for patients presenting with the 'wind-cold lingering in the lung' pattern, a TCM diagnosis characterized by persistent cough following an acute respiratory infection. The formulation is designed to warm the lungs, dispel cold, and relieve cough. It has undergone Phase II clinical testing in China (CTR20190931) to evaluate its safety and antitussive efficacy.
