Overview
Zilongjin tablet is a traditional Chinese medicine compound preparation composed of eight herbs. It is primarily used as an adjunct therapy for patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), especially those experiencing qi and blood deficiency syndrome due to chemotherapy. The formulation aims to nourish qi and blood, clear heat, detoxify, regulate qi, remove blood stasis, and alleviate symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, cough, and pain. Clinical studies indicate that when combined with conventional chemotherapy for NSCLC patients, Zilongjin tablets can improve quality of life and reduce adverse effects associated with chemotherapy. Network pharmacology suggests its mechanism may involve modulation of inflammatory responses relevant to both NSCLC and COVID-19.
