Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**zimberelimab + FOLFOX** is a combination investigational regimen consisting of zimberelimab, an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody, and FOLFOX, a standard chemotherapy regimen which includes oxaliplatin, folinic acid (leucovorin), and fluorouracil. Zimberelimab is an immune checkpoint inhibitor that targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), blocking its interaction with PD-L1/PD-L2 and thereby enhancing T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity. FOLFOX is a cytotoxic chemotherapy regimen used primarily in colorectal and other gastrointestinal cancers. The combination is being evaluated in clinical trials for advanced and metastatic gastrointestinal malignancies, including gastric, gastroesophageal junction, and esophageal adenocarcinoma.
