A combination oral care formulation containing zinc lactate, amine fluoride, and sodium fluoride is used primarily in toothpastes and mouthwashes for the prevention of dental plaque, gingivitis, and to support overall gum health. The mechanism of action involves antibacterial effects from both the amine compound and zinc ions, which inhibit bacterial growth and biofilm formation on teeth. Sodium fluoride acts by promoting remineralization of tooth enamel and preventing dental caries. Clinical studies have shown that this combination is significantly more effective than standard sodium fluoride-only formulations in reducing plaque accumulation (up to 12 times more effective) and gingivitis (up to 5 times more effective), as well as enhancing mucosal barrier function without compromising tissue integrity[1][5][6]. The product is indicated for daily oral hygiene management in patients with gingivitis or at risk for gum disease.
