Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zishen Qingre Lishi Huayu Granules is a Chinese herbal medicine compound composed of nine herbs primarily used for treating polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The formulation works through multiple mechanisms to nourish kidneys, clear heat, reduce dampness, and dissipate blood stasis by promoting diuresis and blood circulation, dredging the meridians, and harmonizing menstruation. Clinical studies have shown it to be effective in treating PCOS by regulating estrous cycles, improving sex hormone levels, enhancing follicular development, and reducing insulin resistance. The granules also demonstrate anti-inflammatory effects and can positively influence autophagy, steroidogenesis, and oxidative stress pathways in granulosa cells. It was initially developed by Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
