Overview
Zishen Quyu Jiedu Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula that has demonstrated clinical efficacy in the treatment of endometriosis (EMs). Research, including network pharmacology and in vivo experiments, suggests that its therapeutic effects are mediated through the modulation of various signaling pathways involved in oxidative stress and inflammation. The formula works by reducing inflammatory cell infiltration and decreasing levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α. Concurrently, it enhances the body's antioxidant defense mechanisms by increasing the expression of NRF2, NQO1, and HO1, while decreasing KEAP1. This multi-component approach targets several key proteins and pathways to alleviate the symptoms and progression of endometriosis.
