Zishen Zhuanggu Tablets is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine for the treatment of primary osteoporosis. The drug is specifically designed for patients diagnosed with the TCM pattern of liver-kidney deficiency accompanied by blood stasis. Its therapeutic approach involves nourishing the kidneys, strengthening the skeletal system, and promoting blood circulation to improve bone mineral density and alleviate clinical symptoms associated with bone loss. The formulation has been evaluated in randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 clinical trials in China to establish its safety and efficacy profile in adult populations with primary osteoporosis.
