Zishui Qinggan Granules

Zishui Qinggan Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula derived from the classic prescription "Zishui Qinggan Yin". It is primarily used to nourish Yin, enrich blood, clear heat, and soothe the liver. The formula is an adaptation of the well-known Liu Wei Di Huang Wan, with additional herbs specifically chosen to address liver stagnation and heat. Its therapeutic actions are rooted in balancing the body's Yin and Yang, particularly within the liver and kidney systems. Modern pharmacological studies suggest that Zishui Qinggan Granules may exert its effects through anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory mechanisms, including the antagonism of interleukin-1 (IL-1) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF), and the modulation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) ratios.
