Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ZKA3** is a monoclonal antibody that targets the Zika virus (ZIKV) E protein, specifically recognizing the EDI/II domain. It exhibits partial neutralizing activity against ZIKV infectivity but demonstrates antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) of infection in FcγR-expressing cells like K562, as well as cross-reactivity with Dengue virus serotype 1 (DENV1), where it similarly neutralizes and enhances infection. Developed initially by Humabs BioMed SA (now part of Vir Biotechnology), it represents an early-stage immunotherapeutic candidate for Zika virus infection amid public health concerns.
