Overview

ZL-1503 is a bispecific antibody developed by Zai Lab that targets both interleukin 13 (IL-13) and interleukin 31 (IL-31) pathways. It is designed to inhibit both inflammatory and pruritogenic signaling, which are implicated in moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis and other diseases driven by IL-13 and IL-31. The drug features an extended serum half-life for sustained activity. Preclinical data show that intravenous administration of ZL-1503 can completely inhibit IL-13/IL-31 signaling, with the aim of providing improved efficacy over current therapies that only partially address these pathways[1][2][4][5][8].
