Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ZS-07** is a Zensun-developed preclinical small-molecule combination drug candidate for **Alzheimer's disease**. Zensun describes it as acting across multiple cellular energy-metabolism pathways, including the tricarboxylic-acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation, to increase key energy-metabolism enzyme activity, cerebral glucose metabolism, ATP production, and cellular energy supply. In streptozotocin-injected rat and 2XTg-AD mouse models, ZS-07 improved learning and memory measures, reduced anxiety-related behavior, and increased brain ATP and expression of energy-metabolism-associated enzymes. Its individual active components and discrete molecular targets have not been publicly disclosed. ([zensun.com](https://www.zensun.com/product/center?id=8))
