Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ZS-1001 is a small-molecule agonist of the Stimulator of Interferon Genes (STING) protein, currently under development by Bio Genuine (GenuineBiotech) for the treatment of solid and malignant tumors. By targeting the cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (cGAS)-STING signaling pathway, ZS-1001 mimics the effect of cytosolic DNA to trigger the production of type I interferons and other pro-inflammatory cytokines. This activation enhances the recruitment and maturation of antigen-presenting cells (APCs), subsequently priming and activating tumor-specific T cells to induce a robust anti-tumor immune response. ZS-1001 is part of Bio Genuine's research pipeline focused on innovative oncology therapeutics.
