Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ZS-1004 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Bio Genuine for the treatment of prostate cancer. It is designed to target the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), a cell-surface protein that is significantly overexpressed in prostate cancer cells compared to normal tissues. Upon binding to PSMA, the ADC is internalized into the cell, where the cytotoxic payload is released to induce cell death. This targeted approach aims to enhance therapeutic efficacy while reducing the off-target effects typically associated with systemic chemotherapy.
