Overview

ZSP1241 is a potent and selective small molecule inhibitor of the c-Met (Hepatocyte Growth Factor Receptor) tyrosine kinase, developed by Guangdong South China Pharmaceutical Group (a subsidiary of Zhongsheng Pharmaceutical). The c-Met signaling pathway is frequently dysregulated in various malignancies, including hepatocellular carcinoma, where it promotes tumor cell proliferation, survival, invasion, and angiogenesis. By specifically targeting and inhibiting the MET receptor, ZSP1241 aims to suppress these oncogenic processes. It is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, with a particular focus on patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.
