Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ZVS106e is an investigational, subretinally administered **recombinant adeno-associated virus serotype 8 gene-replacement therapy** for inherited retinal degeneration caused by biallelic **ABCA4** mutations, including Stargardt disease type 1. The injection contains two active rAAV8 vector components, ZVS106E-A and ZVS106E-B, intended to restore functional ABCA4 activity in affected retinal cells. It is being evaluated in an early-phase clinical study using a single unilateral subretinal injection. ([cdek.pharmacy.purdue.edu](https://cdek.pharmacy.purdue.edu/trial/NCT07241169/))
