ZX-101A is a next-generation, orally administered small molecule dual inhibitor of phosphoinositide 3-kinase delta (PI3Kδ) and gamma (PI3Kγ), developed by Zenshine Pharma. It is designed to target both PI3Kδ and PI3Kγ isoforms, aiming to directly inhibit PI3K signaling in malignant lymphocytes while also enhancing anti-tumor immunity. This dual inhibition approach may provide synergistic effects for the treatment of hematologic malignancies and potentially certain solid tumors, especially in combination with checkpoint inhibitors. ZX-101A has demonstrated an improved therapeutic window in preclinical models and is being evaluated for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy in multiple phase I/II clinical trials involving patients with relapsed/refractory hematological malignancies (such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia [CLL], small lymphocytic lymphoma [SLL], indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma [iNHL], other NHL subtypes) as well as advanced solid tumors[2][6][10].
