ZY008

ZY008 is a personalized neoantigen-based mRNA cancer vaccine currently under clinical investigation for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. Developed by Shanghai Zhiyuan Biotechnology in collaboration with Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, the vaccine utilizes mRNA technology to deliver sequences encoding patient-specific tumor neoantigens. These neoantigens are identified through genomic sequencing of the patient's tumor and matched normal tissue to pinpoint unique mutations. Once administered, the mRNA is translated into proteins that are processed and presented by antigen-presenting cells, thereby stimulating a targeted T-cell immune response against the tumor cells expressing those specific mutations. This approach aims to provide a highly specific and potent anti-tumor immune response for patients who have exhausted standard treatment options.
