Overview

ZYG24002 is a topical small molecule Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor developed by Sinomune Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions, primarily seborrheic dermatitis. By targeting the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, ZYG24002 aims to modulate the immune response and reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines that drive the pathogenesis of seborrheic dermatitis, such as erythema and scaling. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1b clinical trials (e.g., NCT06344104) as a lotion in various concentrations (0.5%, 0.75%, and 1.0%) to establish its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in adult patients with mild to moderate disease.
