Overview

Zymwolumab (ITA035) is a preclinical-stage monoclonal agonist antibody developed by Immunoah Therapeutics. It targets OX40 (CD134), a costimulatory receptor in the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (TNFRSF) that is expressed primarily on activated T cells. Zymwolumab is engineered using Immunoah's proprietary platform to function as a conditional agonist, a design intended to limit systemic toxicity by ensuring that T-cell activation occurs primarily within the tumor microenvironment. By binding to and stimulating OX40 signaling, the antibody promotes the proliferation and survival of effector T cells while potentially reducing the suppressive activity of regulatory T cells (Tregs). This dual mechanism aims to overcome immune suppression and promote a robust anti-tumor immune response. Zymwolumab is currently being investigated for the treatment of various solid tumors.
