RNA, 5S ribosomal pseudogene 245 (RNA5SP245) refers to a processed pseudogene in the human genome derived from the 5S ribosomal RNA gene[2]. Most 5S rRNA pseudogenes do not produce detectable transcripts, have limited or no biological activity, and are not currently implicated in human disease or targeted by any therapeutic agents[2][4].
