5S ribosomal RNA pseudogene 464 (RNA5SP464) is a pseudogene homologous to the 5S ribosomal RNA gene. 5S ribosomal RNA itself is a 120-nucleotide structural RNA integral to the large ribosomal subunit in most eukaryotes and prokaryotes, playing a key role in ribosome biogenesis and protein synthesis[1][3].
