Overview

Acireductone dioxygenase 1 pseudogene 2 (ADI1P2) is a non-coding pseudogene related to the acireductone dioxygenase 1 (ADI1) family. Unlike ADI1, which is a functional metal-binding oxidoreductase involved in methionine salvage and various cellular processes, ADI1P2 does not produce a protein product or participate in any known endogenous biological function or disease pathway. Thus, it is not considered a molecule of therapeutic interest or a drug target.
