ACTR3B pseudogene 5 (ACTR3BP5)

Target

Overview

ACTR3B pseudogene 5 (ACTR3BP5) is a non-coding pseudogene related to the ACTR3B gene, which encodes actin-related protein 3B (ARP3-beta). Unlike the protein-coding ACTR3B gene, pseudogenes like ACTR3BP5 do not encode functional proteins and do not serve as commonly recognized drug or therapeutic targets. ACTR3B has multiple pseudogenes distributed across different chromosomes, and ACTR3BP5 refers to one of these non-functional gene copies[5]. There is currently no evidence implicating ACTR3BP5 in any specific biological process, disease, or pharmacological context.
