Target intelligence / Profile preview
The ADP-ribosylation factor 1 pseudogene is a genomic locus related to the functional ADP-ribosylation factor 1 gene, part of the ARF family of small GTP-binding proteins involved in vesicular trafficking and Golgi function. Unlike its protein-coding counterpart, pseudogenes such as ARF1P (LOC101060021) do not encode a functional protein and typically lack biological activity. There is no evidence this locus serves as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or other molecular target of therapeutic relevance.
