ADP-ribosylation factor-like 8B pseudogene is a non-coding genomic sequence derived from the ARL8B gene family, which encodes small GTP-binding proteins involved in lysosomal transport and vesicle trafficking. As a pseudogene, it is generally regarded as non-functional and does not produce a functional protein product. Pseudogenes may sometimes play regulatory roles at the RNA level or be transcribed under certain conditions; however, the ADP-ribosylation factor-like 8B pseudogene is not recognized as a protein-coding gene, nor is it considered a conventional therapeutic target.
