Overview

AIM-103 is a novel immune suppressor molecule primarily expressed by myeloid cells, specifically dendritic cells and macrophages. It has both enzymatic and non-enzymatic functions that contribute to its immunosuppressive activity within the tumor microenvironment. AIM-103 shifts the balance of lipid metabolites in the local microenvironment toward an anti-inflammatory state and directly suppresses T cell activity through mechanisms not dependent on its catalytic function.
