Target intelligence / Profile preview
Allergenic proteins found in the pollen of Rumex crispus (Yellow Dock). These proteins trigger immune responses in sensitized individuals, leading to allergic symptoms. Several antigenic protein bands within the pollen extract have been identified, including molecular weights of approximately 40 kDa, 38 kDa, 24 kDa, and 21 kDa. Extracts are used for allergy testing and potential immunotherapy. Cross-reactivity with other Polygonaceae species and Ragweed allergens has been observed.
