ANAPC13 is critical for APC/C structural integrity and function, facilitating the timely execution of APC/C-dependent cell cycle events, particularly during mitosis and G1 phase[1][5]. Disruption of ANAPC13 or its regulatory functions has been linked to malignant progression in several cancers, including breast and liver cancer, mainly due to its role in maintaining genomic stability[3][5]. No approved or investigational drugs are currently known to target ANAPC13 specifically, as it serves as a part of a larger complex rather than as a standalone therapeutic target.
