Angiogenesis via paracrine signaling is the process of new blood vessel formation stimulated by factors secreted from nearby cells. Key paracrine factors include VEGF, HGF, IGF-1, IL-8, IL-6, PDGF, and TGF-β1, which promote endothelial cell proliferation, migration, and vessel stabilization. Mechanism of action

Paracrine signaling involves the secretion of soluble proteins or vesicles by source cells, diffusion through the local microenvironment, binding to specific receptors on target/endothelial cells, and activation of intracellular pathways leading to endothelial cell proliferation, migration, tube formation/capillary network assembly, and vessel maturation/stabilization.
