Anti-Müllerian Hormone Receptor Type II (None)

Target
None
Molecular classification
Receptor, TGF-β superfamily – Type II Serine/Threonine Kinase Receptors, Type I membrane protein
01

Overview

Anti-Müllerian hormone receptor type II (AMHR2) is a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase receptor that specifically binds anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH). AMHR2 is essential for mediating the biological effects of AMH, particularly in reproductive development and function. Upon binding AMH, AMHR2 activates downstream signaling pathways involving ALK-type I kinases and SMAD proteins, ultimately regulating gene expression. Loss-of-function mutations in AMHR2 are associated with persistent Müllerian duct syndrome.
