Arf-GAP with dual PH domain-containing protein 2 (ADAP2) is an enzyme encoded by the ADAP2 gene in humans and acts as a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) for the ADP ribosylation factor (Arf) family of small GTP-binding proteins. It contains two tandem Pleckstrin Homology (PH) domains, which are capable of binding inositol phospholipids such as PtdInsP3. ADAP2 is believed to function by modulating Arf-mediated signaling pathways through its GAP activity and possibly by regulating lipid signaling via its PH domains. Its detailed physiological and pathological roles remain to be well characterized.
