Target intelligence / Profile preview
Arf-GAP with GTPase, ANK repeat and PH domain-containing protein 6 (AGAP6) is a human protein encoded by the AGAP6 gene. It is predicted to have GTPase activator activity and GTPase activity, and contains characteristic ankyrin repeat and pleckstrin homology (PH) domains. AGAP6 is classified as a putative GTPase-activating protein but its precise physiological role is not well characterized. An important paralog is AGAP4. It has been associated with Pitt-Hopkins syndrome, but no direct drug interactions or therapeutic targeting information are currently available[1][4][6].
