ARHGAP15 antisense RNA 1 (ARHGAP15-AS1)

Target
ARHGAP15-AS1
Molecular classification
Other, Long non-coding RNA, lncRNA
01

Overview

ARHGAP15 antisense RNA 1 is a long non-coding RNA gene located on chromosome 2, transcribed from the antisense strand relative to the ARHGAP15 gene[5][6][7]. lncRNAs such as ARHGAP15-AS1 can be involved in the regulation of gene expression at multiple levels, including transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation, but ARHGAP15-AS1's specific roles have not yet been described in available scientific literature or major public gene databases. There is currently no evidence that ARHGAP15-AS1 itself is a canonical therapeutic target (such as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, etc.), nor is there indication that the entry is misspelled or incorrect. It should be distinguished from ARHGAP15, which encodes a protein with well-studied regulatory functions in cell signaling and disease biology[1][2][3][4].
